Visa Requirements

Airports

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon): The main international gateway is Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City. From here, you can take a connecting flight to Phu Quoc.

Phu Quoc Island: For Phu Quoc, you’ll fly into Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), which has flights from major Vietnamese cities, including Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, as well as some international destinations.

Flights to Phu Quoc: Direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Phu Quoc (PQC) take about 1 hour and run frequently throughout the day with various airlines.

Booking Tip: It's often easiest to book connecting flights from your departure city to Phu Quoc when possible, as some airlines bundle international and domestic flights.

Getting Around: Taxis and ride-sharing services like Grab are available on the island, as well as motorbike rentals for the more adventurous travelers. Hotels often help arrange local transportation if needed.
